Passed the first test...

We had that luncheon yesterday.  I had a small scoop of rigatoni and a little bit of tomato sauce on my sausage and peppers.  No roll, no potatoes.  No dessert.

We had a cookie and fruit tray later in the meeting and all I had was some fresh fruit.  I did pass the test. 

Next challenge, Monday team lunch meeting.  I'll have to work on minimizing carbs and helpings.  I did have a second helping yesterday, but it was salad, meat and veggies.

You are torturing me with all these blogs about how little you can eat, lol.  But I'm learning from you so thanks.  Portion control is a bitch, but such an essential part of weight loss.

I wouldn't call it how little.  It's still quite a bit and that's the weird.  I'm just going from excess to normal.

Here's something...I had Boston Market last night.  I walk in and they're out of CHICKEN!!  WTF?

So I had meatloaf.  I knew there would be some carbs because bread crumbs get mixed into it.  I had to bite the bullet. I'd never had the sirloin and I wasn't in a turkey mood.

I had sweet potatoes (which the South Beach Diet considers to be awesome) and green beans as sides with the corn bread.

So I figured I'd reached my 50 carbs per meal, but probably not much more.  I go home and look online.  77 fucking carbs in their serving of sweet potatoes.  I feel betrayed!!! 

I just downed a 100 carb meal.  Shame!!!

Whaddya gonna do?  It happens.
